Canadian Laboratory Initiative on Pediatric Reference Interval Database (CALIPER Database)

The CALIPER Database is a specialized medical database that provides age-, sex-, and ethnicity-specific reference intervals for laboratory test results in children and adolescents. Developed through a nationwide Canadian research initiative led by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), it contains data from over 12,000 healthy participants and covers more than 200 biochemical, hematological, immunological, and endocrine markers. The database helps healthcare professionals accurately interpret pediatric laboratory results and improve the diagnosis and monitoring of childhood diseases.
